The Dark Corner (2014)

The bright summer day still allows for some dark recesses to the barn – captured in this image with just the right amount of light coming in to show off the great textural qualities of this old structure.

  1. hi Robert . Very good , clever made in respect “looking guidance” . The image is not self explaining and indeed different levels let us ,or better me ,take our time to look for and to look at. Even that structure or text ? on the wall intrigues to say , there was some life before.

  2. I see the same thing as Peter…
It would definitely be interesting to do some self portraits there…

I have done some self portraits in abandoned places/houses before.

    Great work, Robert!

      • Thank you so much for your kindness, Robert. To be honest – I’m not that comfortable either, my self confidence/self esteem is not so good and that is true – believe it or not. 🙂

      • Thanks…
I believe that this has become some sort of a self therapy for me, I’m not quite sure if this is the right method, but I will keep on doing it as long as I can… It’s interesting to see all the changes too.

  3. Awesome image, Robert. I like the colors, the light, and the “person” on the floor. It’s always wonderful when you can capture something that has many “levels” to it. Great job.
