1958 Cadillac — Connecticut

The 1950s saw extensive design changes to a Cadillac that was introduced in the 1937 model year.  Sparkling “studs” decorated the wide new grille, while the rubber-tipped bumper guards were moved further out towards the edges of the car – leaving a lower, wider look. Four headlights were adopted for all Cadillacs, including the $6,117* Sixty Special. (*about $50,000 in 2015 dollars).  The 1958 Sixty Special was powered by a 365 cid engine rated at 310 hp.

      • You’re welcome. 🙂 A Bel-Air. Wow that brings back memories of my high school friend’s parents car that was a Bel-Air shift on the column.
