20-Tons of Lace Making Machinery (2015)

Scranton Lace Company — Scranton, Pennsylvania

The Nottingham Lace Loom is a derivation of the Jacquard loom principally designed to weave window laces. These massive looms stand out for their multi-story height allowing them to weave very large pieces of materials at one time. Once this manufacturing gallery was filled with these machines, but now this is the last remaining loom at Scranton Lace.
