Winship House — Wakefield, Massachusetts
Between gaps in the plywood, there were still a few places that light could enter…but we are heading into the dark section of Winship house now, so let’s wait for our eyes to dilate before going any further.

Uh oh…dark section.
With me?
Well it hasn’t been all sweetness and light before so coming up dark sounds ominous.
Well it will be dark…I’ve debated on lightening them up to allow for darker monitors, but I think I shall leave them as-is.
Looking forward to them…I think
I’ll be sure to treat you right!
Very dramatic! I like what you did with this shot, Robert. (And the piano: the final insult – the keys are even tagged! Sacrilegious.)
Thank you Jo…Glad you approve of my work and not the vandal’s lame attempt at expressing themselves 🙂
I love all your work, Robert. You know that. 🙂
It is always nice to hear it anyway…Thanks!
I’m on a catch up of posts – this series becomes more shocking with the vandalism…how long did you spend in there? I can totally see why it has affected you so much.
Thank Lisa…I was inside for about four hours…completely filling up my 64GB CF card.
Wow, what wonderful light, Robert. Kudos for getting a great image in the gloom
Thanks Sue…I had to work hard to get that shadow from the spray-painted peace sign to show up…glad you like it!
I do!
Great title for this…I see the peace sign. This can’t be a steinway. I don’t see the logo.
No logo to be seen either – or it was painted over and I was not about to open it up to find out due to my “no touch” policy…
