Winship House — Wakefield, Massachusetts

Standing beside the large in-ground pool, we look at the rear portion of Winship House and notice the decaying capitals atop the pillars…just an indication of all the deferred maintenance on the property.

  1. Yes, what a shame about the rotting wood. I do love the shade of blue on the ceiling of the covered patio space though, and the children’s horse carousel is rather cool. It would be a great place to hang out with the kids. Well, if the roof didn’t fall down on your head first.
