J. W. Cooper School — Shenandoah, Pennsylvania
J.W. Cooper High School remained in use until 1986 when it was replaced, it then served an temporary elementary school building until the early 1990s, when a new building was constructed next to the new high school. The building sat vacant and was set to be razed until a local businessman, Kent Steinmetz purchased the property in 2009 with the goal of transforming it into a regional hub for business and arts.
